Removing the Right Side Cover

Remove the right side cover as follows.

!WARNING

Before removing the right side cover, turn off the power and unplug the system power cable. Power is removed only when the power cable is unplugged.

1.Turn off and unplug the system unit.

2.Unplug the keyboard, mouse, monitor, and any other device (such as a printer) connected to the back of the system.

3.Remove the left side cover as previously described.

4.Remove the three screws holding the right side cover to the rear of the chassis.

5.Grasp the handle on the right side cover and slide the cover towards the rear of the chassis about one-half inch.

6.Pull out the bottom of the cover and tilt the cover towards the left side of the chassis until it releases from the chassis.

7.Remove the cover from the chassis.
