Shooting Options: Shooting Menu (j, k, l, m Modes)

Restricted function	Setting	Description
Metering	AF area mode	When AF area mode is set to Center, while Metering
	(A95)	is set to Spot AF area, the Metering setting
		automatically changes to Matrix.
	Active D-Lighting	Metering is reset to Matrix when Active D-Lighting
	(A103)	is set to any mode other than Off.
Continuous/	Continuous	Continuous and Exposure bracketing are not

		120 fps, Continuous H: 60 fps, BSS, Multi-shot 16
		and Exposure bracketing are not available.
		When the B&W + color check box is selected, the
		setting for continuous is reset to Single and Exposure
		bracketing is reset to Off. To perform simultaneous
		recording of black-and-white and color with Intvl
		timer shooting, first select B&W + color, and then
		select the Intvl timer shooting setting.
	Long exposure	When On is selected for Long exposure NR,
	NR (A102)	Continuous H, Pre-shooting cache, Continuous H:
		120 fps, Continuous H: 60 fps and Multi-shot 16
		are not available.
AF area mode	Focus mode	• When a setting other than Subject tracking is
	(A40)	selected and B(infinity) is selected as the focus
		mode for shooting, the camera focuses at infinity
		regardless of the applied AF area mode option.
		• When set to E(manual focus), AF area mode
		cannot be set.
	Metering (A93)	When Metering is set to Spot AF area or Spot,
		Subject tracking is not available.
Autofocus mode	Focus mode	When the focus mode is set to E(manual focus),
	(A40)	Autofocus mode cannot be set.
Long exposure NR	Continuous	When Multi-shot 16 is selected for shooting, the Long
	(A76)	exposure NR is not available.
Active D-Lighting	ISO sensitivity	When ISO sensitivity is set to High ISO sensitivity
	(A92)	auto or 3200, Active D-Lighting is not available.
		When High ISO sensitivity auto or 3200 is selected,
		Active D-Lighting is reset to Off.
