Press the cbutton (Playback mode) Md(Playback menu) MfRotate image

Change the orientation of pictures played back in the camera’s monitor after shooting. Still pictures can be rotated 90° clockwise or counterclockwise. Pictures that were recorded in the “tall” orientation can be rotated up to 180° in either direction.

Select a picture in the picture selection screen (A140) to display the Rotate image screen. Press the multi selector Jor Kto rotate the picture 90°.

Press the kbutton to set the orientation displayed and save the orientation data with the picture.

BRotating Images in a Sequence

While the key picture of a sequence is displayed, images cannot be rotated. Apply the setting after displaying individual images (A113, 145).

iHide Image

Press the cbutton (Playback mode) Md(Playback menu) MiHide image

Hide pictures so that they cannot be played back on the camera monitor.

In the picture selection screen, choose the pictures and set or cancel the hide setting. See “Selecting Pictures” (A140) for more information.

Hidden pictures cannot be deleted using the lbutton. Note, however, that formatting the internal memory or memory card (A200) permanently erases the hidden pictures.
