oThe Playback Menu

To display the playback menu, press G and select the play- back menu tab (K).

Gbutton

The playback menu contains the following options:

Delete

Delete multiple images (0 75).

 

Slide show

View movies and photos in a slide show (0 77).

 

Rotate tall

Rotate “tall” (portrait-orientation) pictures for display

 

during playback (0 103).

 

DPOF print order

Create digital “print orders” (0 99).

 

Protect

Protect pictures from accidental deletion (0 103).

 

Rating

Rate pictures (0 103).

 

 

Brighten shadows in dark or back-lit photos, creating a

 

D-Lighting

retouched copy that is saved separately from the unmod-

 

ified original (0 104).

Resize

Create small copies of selected pictures (0 105).

 

Crop

Create cropped copies of selected pictures (0 106).

Edit movie

Create copies of movies from which unwanted footage

 

has been trimmed (0 107).

 

 

APlayback

The camera may be unable to display or retouch images that were cre- ated or have been edited with other devices.

AImage Quality

Copies created from JPEG photos are the same quality as the original, while copies created from NEF (RAW) photos are saved as fine-quality JPEG images.
