5Insert the camera.

the lens positioned in the lens window.

	DThe Camera Strap
	To ensure that the camera strap does not get caught in the seal and cause a leak, be sure
	to remove the strap before placing the camera in the case.
En	DUnderwater Flash Units (017)
	The underwater fl ash unit will only fi re when the camera’s
	built-in fl ash is raised; after placing the camera in the case,
	raise the built-in fl ash, but note that the fl ash will fi re with
	every shot taken. Be sure to lower the built-in fl ash when
	using the case without an underwater fl ash unit.

6Insert desiccant.

To prevent condensation from forming inside the case, insert the supplied silica gel desic- cant between the bottom of the camera and the case. Slide the desiccant to the front, where it will not interfere with the case clos- ing. Improper placement could cause the case to leak.

AReplacing the Desiccant

Used desiccant loses its capacity to absorb moisture. We recommend replacing the desic- cant each time the case is used (0 17).
