4Do the following:

aIn the Port field, click the button to view ports.

bSelect the port.

cIn the Vpi field, type the VPI-bit size (an integer between 0 and 255).

dIn the Vci field, type the VCI-bit size (an integer between 0 and 65, 535).

eIn the Name field, type the name of the ATM PVC card.

fIn the Encapsulation field, select the encapsulation method (null or

IIcSnap).

gIn the Service type field, select the service type (ubr or vbr).

hIf you select vbr in the Service type field, complete these fields:

In the PeakCellRate field, enter the PCR (an integer between 86 and

733490).

In the SustainedCellRate field, enter the SCR (an integer between 86 and

733490).

In the MaxBurstSize field, type the maximum bu rst size (an integer

between 2 and 255).

5Click Insert.

The ATM, Insert ATM dialog box closes, and the ATM PVC tab is

redisplayed.

6Click Close.

Associating the PVC with the VLAN

1From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > ATM.

The Port dialog box opens with the ATM tab displayed (Figure16 on

page 60).

Table9 on page 60 describes the ATM tab items.

2Click the ATM 1483 ELAN tab.

The ATM 1483 ELAN tab opens.

3Click Insert.
