Creating two VLANs “byPort”To create two VLANs “byPort,” see “Creating a VLAN “byPort” and adding
ports” on page 119. One VLAN must have only one ATM port. The second
VLAN can have one or multiple Ethernet ports.

Note: Each configured ATM 1483 PVC uses one VLAN. The Passport
8672ATM Module can be configured for a maximum of 256 VLANs per
MDA and a maximum of 512 VLANs per card.
