show atm elan-stats <vlan id>

Use this command to display the ELAN statistics for a particular VLAN ID. If the

collection of ELAN statistics is disabled, a message is printed before the ELAN

statistics.

Figure 27 shows sample output from the show atm elan-stats <vlan_id>

command.

Field Description

InOctets Octets received from the ATM interface. This includes the

“InDiscards" PDUs.

OutOctets Octets transmitted out of the ATM interface.

NOTE: For a Bridge ELAN Type with multiple PVCs, there

will be multiple packets transmitted for a multicast packet,

or for a unicast packet that is not in the CAM. Thus, the

OutOctets may not correlate to the OutUcastPkts +

OutMcastPkts + OutBcastPkts.

InErrors AAL5 CPCS PDUs received with errors from the ATM

interface. These errors include CRC-32 errors, SAR

time-out errors, and oversized SDU errors.

OutErrors Number of AAL5 CPCS PDUs that could not be transmitted

due to error.
