Enabling or disabling a port

You can enable or disable a port by two methods. To enable or disable a port

through the Device Manager menu bar:

1On the device view, highlight a port.

2From the Device Manager menu bar, choose Edit > Port.

The Port dialog box opens with the Interface tab displayed (Figure12 on

page 52).

3In the AdminStatus area, click up to enable the port, or click down to disable

the port.
