		Basic Operation
4	Press [Image Quality] to select
	the image quality mode required.
	The indicator light displays for the
	selected mode.
Image Quality mode		Description
Text+Photo		Select for originals containing a mixture of both text
		and photographs.

Photo	Select for originals containing mostly photographs.

Text	Select for originals containing mostly text.

NOTE: To adjust the default Copy Exposure in each of the Image Quality modes, refer to Chapter 3, Advanced Operation Guide.

You can also select which Image Quality mode will be the default setting in the initial mode, refer to Chapter 3, Advanced Operation Guide for details.

5	Copy Exposure can be adjusted
	automatically or manually.

Press [Auto Exposure] to allow the machine to select the optimal exposure setting for the original.

Press [Lighter] or [Darker] to adjust the copy exposure manually. There are 7 expsosure levels available.

The display indicates the current exposure level.

	NOTE: If Photo is selected, Auto Exposure mode cannot be used.
6	Enter the number of copies
6	required.

Up to 999 can be entered.
