Dubbing CD to MD (CD dubbing)

This operation is one-touch recording that enables the DLA LINK.

The tracks are automatically numbered.

Insert a CD and MD.

See Step 1 of “Playing a CD” on page 20.

See Step 1 of “Playing an MD” on page 22.

Use a recordable MD.

Check the necessary recording time.

1Press CD/MD repeatedly to select “CD.”

2Check the CD’s total playback time.

If the display does not indicate the total playback time, press DISPLAY repeatedly.

4Check the available recording time on the MD.

If some data has already been recorded in the MD, the additional songs will be recorded and numbered sequentially following the existing data in the MD.

Press CD DUBBING to start dubbing.

When playback of a CD is com- plete, or an MD is recorded up to the end, recording automatically stops. To cancel the operation during recording, press MD or CD .

DLA LINK may take up to 90 sec- onds.

“X2 Dubbing?” appears for

The FR-N3X searches for the peak level in the CD and sets the optimum recording level. (DLA LINK)

Then, it starts recording.

When CD playback is completed or the recording reaches the end of the MD, the recording stops.

Tip!

Recorded songs are automati- cally numbered during CD-to- MD dubbing.

CD-R or LINE input source is audible during CD dubbing. (The level meter in the display indicates the level of the recording source. The FR-N3X DIGITAL OUT connector out- puts the CD audio.)
