qArrow, TUNING, PRESET and ENTER buttons

When the AM or FM input source is selected, the TUNING [q]/[w] buttons are used to tune the tuner, and the PRESET [e]/[r] buttons are used to select radio presets (see pages 62, 64).

When the onscreen setup menus are used, they work as arrow buttons and are used to select and set items. The [ENTER] button is also used with the onscreen setup menus.

rRETURN button

This button is used to return to the previously dis- played onscreen setup menu.

sMASTER VOLUME control (56)

This control is used to adjust the volume of the AV receiver to QdB, –81.5 dB through +18.0 dB (rel- ative display).

The volume level can also be displayed as an abso- lute value. See “Volume Setup” on page 93.

tPHONES jack (58)

This 1/4-inch phone jack is for connecting a stan- dard pair of stereo headphones for private listening.

uAUX INPUT HDMI (25)

Used to connect a HD camcorder etc.

vPURE AUDIO button and indicator (69)

Selects the Pure Audio listening mode. The indica- tor lights up when this mode is selected. Pressing this button again selects the previous listening mode.

wInput selector buttons (56)

These buttons are used to select from the following input sources: DVD/BD, VCR/DVR, CBL/SAT, GAME, AUX, TV/TAPE, TUNER, CD, PHONO, PORT.

xAUX INPUT (34)

This input can be used to connect a camcorder, game console, and so on. There are jacks for com- posite video, analog audio, and optical digital audio.

PORTABLE (34):

Used to connect a portable Audio Player.

ySETUP MIC jack (51)

Audyssey MultEQ® Room Correction and Speaker Setup microphone connects here.
