Playing DivX® videos

[DivX]
ABOUT DIVX VIDEO:
DivX® is a digital video format created by DivX, Inc. This is an
official DivX Certified device that plays DivX video.
You can play DVD-R/R DL and CD-R/R W dis cs which contain
DivX video co ntents that have been r ecor ded on a person al
computer.

≥Because DivX format can use many different codecs,
there is no guarantee that all DivX files will play. (>38,
“About MP3/JPEG/DivX files”)
Preparation
In se rt a disc (>13).
1Press [AV SELECT] to select “DISC”.
≥If the media containing data in different file formats is
inserted, the file selection menu may be displayed.
Press [3,4] to select “Play V ideo (DivX)” and press
[OK].
2Press [3,4] to select the title and press
[OK].
Play starts on the selected title.
≥The pictur e sizes se t for r ecor ding may pre vent the unit from
showing pictures in th e pro per a spect. You may be ab le to
adjust the aspect through the T V.
≥Successive play is not possible.

2Press [3,4] t o select “Men u” an d pre s s [OK].
3Press [3,4] to select “Play Video (DivX)” and press [OK].

press [OK].

[OK].
≥You cannot select folders that contain no compatible files.
To return to the previ ous screen
Press [RETURN].

DivX Video-on- Demand (VOD) conte nt.

registered DivX Cert ified device s. If you t ry to play DivX VOD

Display the unit’s registration code.

≥After playing DivX VOD content for the first time, another
registration code is then displayed in “DivX Registration”. Do
not use this regi strati on code to pu rch ase DivX VOD cont ent.
If you use this code to purchase DivX VOD content, and then
play th e co nt ent o n t hi s un it, you will no lon ge r be a bl e t o play
any content that you purchased using t he pr evious code.
≥If you purchase DivX VOD content using a registration code
different from this unit’s code, you will not be able to play this
content. (“Autho riz atio n Error.” is displayed.)
