Prioritized face framing

Prioritized face framing is displayed as orange frames. Focus and adjustment of brightness will be performed against the prioritized face framing.

Prioritized face framing is only displayed with Portrait Mode in the Intelligent Auto Mode.

The white frame is for face detection only.

Focus will be set to prioritized face framing when the button is pressed halfway when recording still pictures. Prioritized face framing will turn to green when the focus is set.

[AUTO SLOW SHTR (2D)]

You can record bright pictures even in dark places by slowing the shutter speed.

Switch to Manual Mode. (l 83)

MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [AUTO SLOW SHTR (2D)] # [ON]

The shutter speed is set to 1/30 or more depending on the surrounding brightness.

This function cannot be used when using the 3D Conversion Lens (optional).

This function cannot be used in Still Picture Recording Mode.

When the shutter speed becomes 1/30, the screen may seem as if frames are missed and afterimages may appear.

[AUTO SLOW SHTR (3D)]

This auto slow shutter function is only used with the 3D Conversion Lens (optional).

Switch to Manual Mode. (l 83)

MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [AUTO SLOW SHTR (3D)] # [ON]

For details, refer to [AUTO SLOW SHTR (2D)].

This function’s default setting is [ON].

When a 3D Conversion Lens is used, the recording scene will become darker. We recommend setting this function to [ON].

[AGS]

If the unit continues to be tilted upside down from the normal horizontal position while recording motion pictures, it is automatically put into recording pause.

MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [AGS] # [ON]

The AGS function may activate and cause the unit to pause the recording if you are recording a subject right above or right below you.
