Battery Replacement

If “Recharge” is displayed and/or “ ” ﬂashes after a few telephone

calls even if the battery was fully charged, replace the battery with a new

Panasonic N4HKGMB00001 (P-P510) battery.

1Press the notch on the battery cover

ﬁrmly and slide it as indicated by the

arrow.

2Remove the old battery and wait for

a few minutes.

Then install the new one.

•Insert the battery plug into the

connector as shown.

•Be sure wires are free from being

pressed by the battery body or the

handset cover.

3Close the cover. Make sure the handset display shows “ ”,

when you place the handset on the base unit.

•If it does not show “ ”, remove the new battery and wait for 10

minutes; and then insert the battery again. Make sure the handset display

shows “ ”.

4Charge the new battery for about 6 hours in order to display the

battery strength prompt correctly (p. 13).
