●During use, the main unit and SD card become hot, but this is normal and not indicative of a malfunction.
Turning power ON/OFF from the LCD monitor

] is selected, power turns ON when the LCD monitor is opened and OFF when it is closed. (During motion picture recording, power does not turn OFF when the LCD monitor is closed.)
•When [QUICK START] (next page) is [ON], the unit goes on quick start standby when the LCD monitor is closed.
•When not in use, set the mode dial to [OFF].
