How to connect an external antenna

To obtain the best audio and video quality it is necessary to install an external antenna,
with adequate cables (75 ohms co-axial cable) and the adequate terminal connector.
Your local TV service can help you to acquire the adequate system and accessories for
the installation of an external antenna in your location.
Any other options of installation, upgrading of existing systems or required accessories, and
the cost for such options, are the owner’s responsibility.
Operation
POWER button
When pressed the TV set is placed on
STAND BY, and it is necessary to press the
button STAND BY on the set panel or
POWER on the remote control to turn the TV
set on.
STAND BY button
Use this button to turn the TV set on and off.
The POWER button TV set must be in the ON
position.
Notes:
• When the TV set is turned on for the
first time or when the channel is
changed, useful information will be
temporarily displayed on the screen.
• When using the numerical keypad in
CABLE mode to select channels 10, 11,
or 12, there is a delay before the
channels are changed, due to the
VOLUME buttons
Press these buttons to adjust sound level.
MUTE button
Press this button to temporarily turn off the
sound.
On the screen the red icon “” will appear.
To turn the sound back on press this button
again.
Switching channels - two alternatives

Press the buttons CHANNEL ( or ) to step
back or forward through the channels, in
the sequence in which they have been
programmed.

Enter the digits for the channel in the
numerical keypad (for example, for
channel 5 press the 0 button followed by
the 5 button). For channels over 99, press
sequentially the three buttons
corresponding to the desired channel.
