Symptom

The ACTION button is not responding

No key operation (by the unit and/or the remote control) is effective.

No key operation is effective. OSD reads: “Searching for Satellite Signal.

VCR/S-Video VCR is not responding

AC-3 decoder is not responding

Timer does not work

TROUBLESHOOTING

Remedy

•Make sure to press ACTION in the middle of the button. •Make sure the remote control is in STB or TV mode.

Set the POWER button to OFF and then back to ON. Alternatively, turn off the power, disconnect the power plug and then reconnect it. (The HDTV Digital Receiver may not be operating properly due to lightning, static electricity or some other external factor).

ODU (Satellite Dish) is momentarily disconnected from the digital receiver. Alternatively, turn off the power, disconnect the power plug and then reconnect it. (The HDTV Digital Receiver or the satellite dish antenna may not be operating properly due to lightning, static electricity or some other external factor).

•Check that the AC power plug is securely plugged into the power outlet. •Check that equipment is connected properly.

•Make sure remote control is in VCR mode.

•Check that the AC power plug is securely plugged into the power outlet. •Check that equipment is connected properly.

•Make sure the clock is set.

•Check to see whether the timers have overlapping times programmed. •Check if the timer did not reset to default settings (antenna/cable mode was changed).

If you ship the product

Carefully pack and send it prepaid, adequately insured and preferably in the original carton. Attach a postage-affixed letter, detailing the complaint, to the outside of the carton. DO NOT send the product to the Executive or Regional Sales offices. They are NOT equipped to make repairs.
