The numbers of the ALARM IN connectors
MAKE CONTACT
Set whether to control the encoder by making
contact or not.
When an alarm input continues for more than 100
ms, the encoder regards it as an alarm occurrence.
OPEN
When a closed contact is opened, the encoder
regards it as an alarm occurrence.
CLOSE
When an open contact is closed, the encoder
regards it as an alarm occurrence.
OFF
The encoder does not detect any alarm from the
correspondent port. No alarm notification is sent.
When "OPEN" or "CLOSE" is selected, the following
actions will be performed at the same time.

destination set on the ALARM page using the
TCP/IP command

Changing of the bit rate
The default setting is "CLOSE" for all ports.
VIDEO INPUT CH
The numbers of the VIDEO IN connectors
CAMERA PRESET No. (1 - 16)
When the encoder detects an alarm from a camera
with preset functions connected to the VIDEO IN
connector, the encoder performs the preset control
on the camera. In this case, the preset function
settings for the camera to be controlled should be
performed in advance.
This setting is invalid when a camera without the
preset functions is connected.
There is no default setting.
BIT RATE
When the encoder detects an alarm, the encoder
changes the bit rate of the streaming video data
temporarily. The bit rate of up to 4 streams can be
changed simultaneously when an alarm is detected.
The default setting is "6.14 Mbps (150 ms)" for all
channels.
