Important

Do not install the encoder and the decoder above an appliance which generates heat such a power amplifier. When installing the encoder and the decoder below a heat-generating appliance, install them below the appliance with a space equivalent to about 1 unit separating them.

Keep the temperature in the rack below +45 °C (113 °F).

When the rack is in a place subject to vibrations, fix the rear of the encoder and the decoder with reinforcing brackets (not included)

Fix the provided tapping screws into screw holes of the rack that have never been threaded before. When screwing a tapping screw into a threaded screw hole, thread ridge of the screw hole may be damaged.

Mounting the decoder

1.Remove the four rubber feet by removing the four screws from the bottom of the decoder.

2. Place the supplied rack mounting brackets on both sides
