Using in Wireless Mode

1Place the AF360FGZ at the desired location.

2Set the AF360FGZ power switch to [WIRELESS].

3Set the AF360FGZ wireless mode to S (Slave).

4Turn the camera mode dial and set the exposure mode to e, b, cor a mode.

5Set the AF360FGZ power switch on the camera to [WIRELESS].

6Set the AF360FGZ wireless mode on the camera to a (Master) or A (Control).

• Wireless mode is not available for the built-in flash.

• Set the AF360FGZ wireless slave mode to SLAVE1.

Wireless Flash Control (P-TTL Flash Mode)

The following information is exchanged between the two AF360FGZ flash units before the flash is discharged when the AF360FGZ is used for wireless flash.

Press the shutter release button fully.

1The camera’s flash discharges a pre-flash. (The camera’s flash mode is transmitted.)

2The external flash unit discharges a pre-flash. (The subject’s lighting condition is checked.)

3The camera’s flash unit discharges a pre-flash. (The required flash output is transmitted to the external flash.)

*The camera’s flash will discharge another pre-flash to transmit the flash duration in HSb (High-speed sync).

4The external flash discharges the main flash.

Set the AF360FGZ wireless slave mode to SLAVE1.
