2 Set the mode dial to [Tv].

3 Select the desired shutter speed by moving the select switch.

4 When the shutter release button is depressed halfway down, the shutter speed and aperture value will be displayed in the viewfinder and on the LCD panel.

If the subject is too bright or too dark,

warning as shown. When the subject is

USING THE METERED MANUAL MODE

 

The manual exposure mode is a convenient exposure mode

 

for taking pictures using the same shutter speed and aperture

 

setting combination, or taking creatively under or overexpo-

 

sured photographs.

 

1 Set the lens aperture ring to [A] while pressing the aperture -A- lock button.
