Registering Functions

You can register the functions you use most frequently on the four-way controller (45). The functions can then be set directly by pressing the four-way controller (45), without displaying the [Rec. Mode] menu.

Registering a function

1 Select [Fn Setting] on the [B Set-up] menu.

2 Use the four-way controller (45) to choose the function you want to register.

3 Press the OK button.

The camera is ready to capture or play back images.

• Only one function can be registered on each key of the four-way controller (45).

You can choose from the following 12 functions:

Recorded Pixels, Quality Level, White Balance, Focusing Area, AE Metering, Sensitivity, Instant Review, Fast Fwd Movie, Sharpness, Saturation, Contrast and EV Compensation.

Retrieving a function

1 Press the four-way controller (45).

The function will be recalled.
