Idle screen

After switching your phone on and entering the PIN code (see page 8), your phone displays the idle screen which means that it is ready to be used. In idle mode, several symbols can be displayed simultaneously.

L If the nsymbol isn’t displayed, the network is not currently available. You may be in a bad reception area: move to a different location. The phone automatically returns to idle screen over 2 mn of inactivity.

Symbols

QSilent - Your phone will not ring when receiving a call.

VVibra - Your phone will vibrate when receiving a call.

LKeypad lock - Protects the keys from being pressed accidentally.

SSMS full - Memory for messages is full. Delete old messages to receive

new ones.

FCall Forward Unconditional to

number - All your incoming voice calls are being forwarded to a number other than voice mail.

fCall Forward Unconditional to

voice mailbox - All your incoming calls are being forwarded to voice mail.

GPRS attach- Your mobile phone is connected to the GPRS network.

sSMS message - You have received a new message.

MVoice mail - You have received a new voice mail.

BBattery - The bars indicate the battery level (4 bars = full, 1 bar = low).

HHome zone - A zone designated by your network operator. Subscription dependent,

contact your service provider for details.

Na GSM Network : your phone is connected to a GSM network

q Reception quality : the more bars are shown the better the reception is.

Memo - A memo or conversation has been

recorded and saved but not yet played. AAlarm clock activated.

RRoaming - Displayed when your phone is registered to a network other than your

own (especially when you’re abroad).
