Use Voice dial

In idle mode, press and hold ,, then pronounce the saved voice tag (see

Voice Dial “Voice dial” page 16). If the phone recognizes the voice tag, it dials the number associated with it. Press )to hang up.

Messages

 

In addition to calling people, you can also send them text messages, called SMS,

 

together with a melody or an emotion icon (optional). These short messages

 

can be sent to any correspondent (saved in the phonebook or not) and are

 

displayed on their mobile phone screen when received.

 

The Send SMS item of the Messages menu allows you to:

Send SMS

• send a standard or customised short text message to someone,

 

• edit the last message sent to modify it if needed and send it again,

 

• add an iMelody, pre-defined sounds, an animation or a picture to your

 

message.

 

The Standard SMS messages are displayed one after another: Please call me

 

back at... for example allows you to select a pre-configured message including

 

your number, if this number is the first one of the Own num. option (see

 

page 46).

Send a SMS

To a name in the list

To the default number if several (phonebook in phone) or to the unique phone number (phonebook in SIM)

1Press -, select the name of your choice and press ,.

2Select Send SMS and press ,, then select the type of message to be sent and press ,. Enter your message, attach a graphic or a sound if you wish,

then select Send now or Save (see below).

To the number of your choice (phone name list only)

1Press -and select the record of your choice, then press ,, select Show and press ,.

2Select the number of your choice and press ,.

3Proceed as described in step 2 of the previous paragraph.

To any other name

To send a short message to someone whose number isn’t stored in the phonebook, press ,and select Messages, then Send SMS and New. Enter the
