Cleaning

Cleaning of the appliance, its parts and the accessories is easiest immediately after use. Never clean the accessories or parts of the appliance in the dishwasher.

Do not use abrasives, scourers, alcohol, etc.

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.

BAfter cleaning the parts and/or accessories, rinse them with clean water and dry them thoroughly.

Motor unit

Clean the motor unit with a moist cloth.

Never immerse the motor unit in water nor rinse it under the tap

Blender jar

Never clean the glass jar with water hotter than 160cF/80cC.

Quick cleaning:

1Assemble the blender jar (see 'Using the appliance').

2Pour warm water and some washing-up liquid into the blender jar.

3Place the lid on the blender jar and insert the stopper into the opening in the lid.

4Let the appliance run for a few moments by pressing the Quick Clean button (M), then release this button. Repeat this process a few times. (fig. 9)

5Press the off button (0).

6Wait until the blades have stopped moving.

7Unplug the appliance.

8Remove the blender jar and rinse it with clean water.

9Thorough cleaning: remove the blade unit and clean all parts separately. Filter

1Remove the filter from the blender jar.

2Hold the filter over a waste bin and gently shake out its contents.

3Rinse the filter under the tap.

4It may be necessary to soak the filter in warm water for a few minutes before rinsing it.

5If necessary, the mesh of the filter may be cleaned with a very soft brush.
