Adjusting loudness

Loudness compensates for deficiencies in the low- and high-sound ranges at low volume.

1Press 5or to select LOUDNESS from the

AUDIO MENU, and press A.MENU. LOUDNESS adjustment indications are dis- played.

2Press 5to turn loudness on.

Loudness level (e.g., LOUDNESS:ON/ MODE:MID) appears in the display.

3 Press 2or 3to select the level.

Press 2or 3until the desired level appears in the display.

LOW (low)—MID(mid)—HIGH(high)

4Press to turn loudness off. LOUDNESS:OFF appears in the display.

Using subwoofer output

This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output which can be switched on or off.

1Press 5or to select SUB WOOFER from the AUDIO MENU, and press A.MENU.

SUB WOOFER adjustment indications are dis- played. When the subwoofer controller setting is S.W CTRL:EXTERNAL, you cannot select SUB WOOFER.

2Press 3to turn subwoofer output on. SUB WOOFER:ON appears in the display. Subwoofer output is now on.

• You can turn off subwoofer output by pressing
