Dimmer

Theadjustment of DIMMER is stored sepa-
ratelyfor each ambient light; daytime, evening
andnighttime.
1 PressV.ADJ and hold to display
PICTUREADJUST.
PressV.ADJ and hold until PICTURE ADJUST
appearsin the display.
2 TouchDIMMER.
3 Touchcor dto adjust the brightness.
Eachtime you touch cor dmoves the key to -
wardsthe left or the right.
Thelevel indicates the brightness of the
screenbeing adjusted. The farther the key
movesto the right, the brighter the screen.
4 TouchESC to hide the touch panel keys.
Note
Theicons indicating the current ambient bright-
nessused for adjusting BRIGHT and CONTRAST
maydiffer from DIMMER slightly.
Selecting the backgrounddisplay
Youcan display the thumbnails of available
backgroundpictures/movies and select one to
setyour background display. The selection
canbe made each for the audio source group
(playingCD, listening to Tuner, using tele-
phonesource, etc.) and the movie source
group(watching DVD, AV, etc.).
1 PressENTERTAINMENT (ENT).
Thumbnailsof background pictures/movies
appearon the display.
#Togo to the next group of thumbnails, touch
NEXT.
#Toreturn to the previous group of thumbnails,
touchPREV.
2 Touchone of the thumbnails that you
wantto display in the background.
Theselected picture/movie is displayed at the
background.
Note
Inthe following cases, background images from
thatsource cannot be selected:
!Wheneach AV input setting (AV input 1 and
2)is not set to VIDEO (refer to page 87).
!Whenthe AVG-VDP1 is not connected to this
