Auto cueing

This function automatically sets the cue point (P. 25) just before actual sound begins when a disc is loaded, or when performing track search or changing tracks.

If the search continues for ten seconds without finding the point, the cue point is set at the track’s beginning.

Turning auto cueing on and off

Pressing the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button and holding it down for a second or more causes auto cueing to be alternately turned on and off.

When AUTO CUE is on, the [A.CUE] indicator will be lit up.

AUTO CUE on/off status is stored in memory and persists even when the power is turned off.

It can change the AUTO CUE level.

7Changing the AUTO CUE level

1.Press the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button for over 5 seconds.

The display will indicate [–60db] (in the original state).

2.Press the CUE LOOP CALL button (2, 3) to change the level.

It can choose from –36 dB, –42 dB, –48 dB, –54 dB, –60 dB, –66 dB,

–72 dB and –78 dB.

When the TIME MODE/AUTO CUE button is pressed or 15 sec- onds elapses, the level change mode is canceled.

Even if you turn the power off, the set level will remain in memory.

Starting playback

1.Insert a disc in the player.

This unit spins discs at high speeds to provide high performance. As a result, disc loading takes a couple of seconds.

2.If auto cueing is on, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (6).

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button only after the current time lights in the display. The silent portion at the beginning of the displayed track will be skipped and playback will begin instantaneously from

the first bars of the track.

When one track’s playback ends, the next track is cued. The [CUE] indicator lights, and the PLAY/PAUSE button [6] indicator flashes to indicate the unit is in the play standby mode.

When the PLAY/PAUSE button (6) is pressed, the next track be- gins its playback.

If auto cueing is off, playback will begin automatically from the first track.

When auto cueing is off, playback will continue after the first track has been played, with all subsequent tracks being played in sequence.

When playback of the final track is complete, playback will automati- cally come to an end.

Repérage automatique

Cette fonction pose automatiquement le point de repère (P. 25) juste avant que le son réel ne commence quand un disque est installé, ou quand vous effectuez la recherche de plage ou le changement de plages. Si la recherche se poursuit pendant 10 secondes sans trouver de point, le point de repère est posé au début de la plage.

Activation et désactivation du repérage automatique Maintenez le bouton TIME MODE/AUTO CUE enfoncé pendant 1 seconde ou plus et la fonction de repérage automatique sera alternativement activée et désactivée.

Quand la fonction AUTO CUE est activée, le voyant [A.CUE] s’allume.

L’activation/désactivation de la fonction AUTO CUE est mémorisée et cet état est maintenu, même si l’appareil est mis hors tension.

Vous pouvez changer le niveau AUTO CUE.

7Changement du niveau AUTO CUE

1.Appuyez sur le bouton TIME MODE/AUTO CUE pendant plus de 5 secondes.

L’affichage indique [–60db] (le paramétrage original).

2.Appuyez sur le bouton CUE LOOP CALL (2, 3) pour changer le niveau.

Vous pouvez choisir entre –36 dB, –42 dB, –48 dB, –54 dB,

–60 dB, –66 dB, –72 dB et –78 dB.

Quand le bouton TIME MODE/AUTO CUE est actionné ou que 15 secondes se sont écoulées, le mode de changement de niveau est annulé.

Le niveau défini est maintenu en mémoire, même si vous mettez l’appareil hors tension.

Lancement de la lecture

1.Insérez un disque dans le lecteur.

Pour fournir de hautes performances, cet appareil fait tourner les disques à haute vitesse et, par conséquent, le chargement d’un disque prend quelques secondes.

2.Si le Repérage automatique est activé, appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6).

Appuyez sur le bouton PLAY/PAUSE seulement après que la durée réelle est apparue sur l’affichage. La partie silencieuse au début de la plage affichée sera sautée et la lecture commencera

instantanément aux premières mesures sur la plage.

A la fin de la lecture d’une plage, la suivante est repérée. Le voyant [CUE] s’allume et le voyant [6] du bouton PLAY/PAUSE clignote pour signaler que l’appareil est en mode Attente de lecture.

Quand le bouton PLAY/PAUSE (6) est actionné, la lecture de la plage suivante commence.

Si le Repérage automatique est désactivé, la lecture com- mence automatiquement à la première plage.

Quand le repérage automatique est désactivé, l’appareil poursuit la lecture des plages successives, après la fin de la première plage.

A la fin de la lecture de la dernière plage, la lecture s’arrête automatiquement.
