presetnumber stops flashing.
Thenumber you have pressed willflash in the
presetnumber indicator and then remain lit.
Theselected radio station frequency has been
storedin memory.
Thenext time you press the same preset tun-
ingbutton the radio station frequency is re-
calledfrom memory.
#Youcan also use aand bto recall radio sta-
tionfrequencies assigned to preset tuning but-
tons1to 6.

Storing the strongest

broadcast frequencies

BSM(best stations memory) letsyou automa-
ticallystore the six strongest broadcast fre-
quenciesunder preset tuning buttons 1to 6.
Oncestored you can tune in to those frequen-
cieswith the touch of button.
!Storingbroadcast frequencies with BSM
mayreplace broadcast frequencies you
havesaved using buttons 1to 6.
1 PressFUNCTION to select BSM.
2 Pressato turn BSM on.
Sixstrongest broadcast frequencies will be
storedin the order of their signal strength.
#Tocancel the storage process, press b.

Tuningin strong signals

Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those
radiostations with sufficiently strong signals
forgood reception.
1 PressFUNCTION to select LOCAL.
2 Pressato turn local seek tuning on.
Localseek sensitivity (e.g., LOCAL 2) appears
inthe display.
#Toturn local seek tuning off, press b.
3 Presscor dto set the sensitivity.
Thereare four levels of sensitivity for FM and
twolevels for AM:
FM:LOCAL 1LOCAL 2LOCAL 3
LOCAL4
AM:LOCAL 1LOCAL 2
TheLOCAL 4 setting allows reception of only
thestrongest stations, while lower settings let
youreceive progressively weaker stations.
