Youcan use this unit to control an iPod adapter,
whichis sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
iPodadapters operation manuals. This sec-
tionprovides information on iPod operations
withthis unit which differs from that described
inthe iPod adapters operation manual.

1Songnumber indicator
Showsthe number of song played in the se-
lectedlist.
!Ifthe songnumber ismore than10 000,
songnumber is not displayed. will be
displayedinstead of song number.
2Playtime indicator
Showsthe elapsed playing time of the cur-
rentsong.
3RPTindicator
Showswhen repeat play is turned on.
1 PressSOURCE to select the iPod.
PressSOURCE until you see IPOD displayed.
2 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
pressand hold cor d.
3 Toskip back or forward to another
track,press cor d.
Pressingdskips to the start of the next track.
Pressingconce skips to the start of the cur-
renttrack. Pressing again will skip to the pre-
vioustrack.

Browsing for a song

Theoperation of this unit to control an iPod is
designedto be as close to the operation of the
iPodas possible for easy operation and song
search.
1 Pressaor bto select the desired cate-
gory.
Pressaor brepeatedly to switch between the
followingsettings:
PLAYLISTS(playlists)ARTISTS (artists)
ALBUMS(albums)SONGS (songs)
GENRES(genres)
2 Pressdto determine the category.
Listfrom the selected categor y is displayed.
3 Pressaor bto select a song list, album
list,artist list or genre list from among the
lists.
Pressaor brepeatedly to switch the lists.
4 Pressdto determine the list.
Listsfrom the selected list are displayed.
5 Repeatstep 3 and 4 to find a song you
wantto listen to.
#Youcan start playback throughout the se-
lectedlist by pressing and holding d.
#Toreturn to the previous list, press c.
#PressBAND to return to the normal display.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the list within about 30 sec-
onds,the list search is cancelled auto-
matically.
