Handling guideline of discs

and player

!Useonly discs featuring either of following
twologos.
!Useonly conventional, fully circular discs.
Donot use shaped discs.
!Use12-cm or 8-cm CD. Do not use an
adapterwhen playing 8-cm CDs.
!Donot insert anything other than a CD into
theCD loading slot.
!Donot use cracked, chipped, warped, or
otherwisedamaged discs as they may da-
magethe player.
!UnfinalizedCD-R/CD-RW disc playback is
notpossible.
!Donot touch the recorded sur face of the
discs.
!Storediscs in their cases when not in use.
!Avoidleaving discs in excessively hot envir-
onmentsincluding under direct sunlight.
!Donot attach labels, write on or apply che-
micalsto the surface of the discs.
!Toclean a CD, wipe the disc with a soft
clothoutward from the center.
!Condensationmay temporarily impair the
players performance. Leave it to adjust to
thewarmer temperature for about one
hour.Also, wipe any dump discs with a soft
cloth.
!Playbackof discs may not be possible be-
causeof disc characteristics, disc format,
recordedapplication, playback environ-
ment,storage conditions and so on.
