output,set for subwoofer R-SP :S/W.
#Whenthe rear output setting is R-SP :S/W,
youcannot change the subwoofer controller.

!Evenif you change this setting, there is no
outputunless you turn the subwoofer output
on(refer to Using subwoofer output on page
31).
!Ifyou change this setting, subwoofer output
inthe audio menu return to the factory set-
tings.
!Bothrear speaker leads outputs and RCA rear
outputare switched simultaneously in this
setting.

Turningthe clock display

on or off

Youcan turn the clock display on or off.
%PressCLOCK to turn the clock display
onor off.
Eachpress of CLOCK turns the clock display
onor off.
#Theclock display disappears temporarily
whenyou perform other operations, but the clock
displayappears again after 25 seconds.
Note
Evenwhen the sources are off, the clock display
appearson the display. Pressing CLOCK turns
theclock display on or off.

Using the AUX source

Thisunit can control up to two auxiliar y equip-
mentssuch as VCR or portable devices(sold
separately).When connected, auxiliar y equip-
mentsare automatically read in as AUX
sourcesand assigned to AUX1 or AUX2. The
relationshipbetween AUX1 and AUX2
sourcesis explained below.

About AUX connection method

Youhave two methods to connect auxiliary
equipmentsto this unit.

Stereomini pin plug cable (AUX1)

Whenconnecting auxiliar y equipment using a
stereomini plug cable
%Insertthe stereo mini plug intothe
AUXinput jack on this unit.

IP-BUS-RCAinterconnector (AUX2)

Whenconnecting auxiliar y equipment using an
IP-BUS-RCAInterconnector (sold separately)
%Usean IP-BUS-RCA Interconnector such
asthe CD-RB20/CD-RB10 (sold separetely)
toconnect this unit to auxiliary equipment
featuringRCA output.

connectorowner s manual.
#Youcan only make this type of connection if
theauxiliary equipment has RCA outputs.

Selecting AUX as the source

Auxiliaryequipments connected to thisunit
canbe activated or deactivated individually.
%PressSOURCE to select AUX (AUX1 or
AUX2)as the source.
PressSOURCE until AUX appears in the dis-
play.
