on WMA/MP3/AAC/WAVdisc
Textinformation recorded on a WMA/MP3/
AAC/WAVdisc can be displayed.
When playing back a WMA/
MP3/AAC disc
%PressDISPLAY.
PressDISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
thefollowing settings:
Playtime—FOLDER (folder name)—FILE (file
name)—TRACKTITLE (track title)—ARTIST
(artistname)—ALBUM (album title)—
COMMENT(comment)—Bit rate
#Whenplaying back MP3 files recorded as VBR
(variablebit rate) files, the bit rate value is not dis-
playedeven after switching to bit rate.
#Whenplaying back WMA files recorded as
VBR(variable bit rate) files, the average bit rate
valueis displayed.
#Ifspecific information has not been recorded
ona WMA/MP3/AAC disc, NO XXXX will be dis-
played(e.g., NO NAME).
#Dependingon the version of iTunes®used to
writeMP3 files onto a disc, comment information
maynot be correctly displayed.
#Dependingon the version of Windows Media
Playerused to encode WMA files, album names
andother text information may not be correctly
displayed.
Note
Youcan scroll to the left of the title by pressing
andholding DISPLAY.
When playing back a WAVdisc

#Ifspecific information has not been recorded
ona WAV disc, NO XXXX will be displayed (e.g.,
NONAME).
#Youcan only play back WAV files in the fre-
quencies16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1 and 48 kHz
(LPCM),or 22.05 and 44.1 kHz (MS ADPCM). The
samplingfrequency shown in the display may be
rounded.
Note
