Showswhen repeat play is turned on.
1 Inserta CD into the CD loading slot.
Playbackwill automatically start.
#Besure to turn up the label side of adisc.
#Aftera CD has been inserted, press SOURCE
toselect the built-in CD player.
#Youcan eject a CD by pressing EJECT.
2 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
pressand hold cor d.
#Ifyou select ROUGH, pressing and holding c
ordenables you to search every 10 tracks in the
currentdisc. (Refer to Searching every 10 tracks in
thecurrent disc on the next page.)
3 Toskip back or forward to another
track,press cor d.

!Whena CD TEXT disc is inserted, text informa-
tioncurrently selected on Using CD TEXT func-

%PressFUNCTION to display the function
names.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
RPT(repeat play)RDM (random play)
SCAN(scan play)PAUSE (pause)COMP
(compressionand BMX)FF/REV (search
method)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
#Ifyou do not operate the function within about
30seconds, the display is automatically returned
tothe playback display.
Repeating play
Repeatplay lets you hear the same track or
discover again.
1 PressFUNCTION to select RPT.
2 Presscor dto select the repeat range.
!DSCRepeat the current disc
!TRKRepeat just the current track
Note
Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring TRK, the repeat play range changes
toDSC.
