Adjusting initial settings

Usingthe initial settings, you can customize
varioussystem settings to achieve optimal per-
formancefrom this unit.
1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressSOURCE and hold again until
functionname appears in the display.
3 PressFUNCTION to select one of the in-
itialsettings.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following settings:
ClockAUX1(auxiliary input 1) AUX2 (aux-
iliaryinput 2)R-SP (rear output and subwoo -
fercontroller)
Usethe following instructions to operate each
particularsetting.
#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND.
#Youcan also cancel initial settings by holding
downSOURCE until the unit turns off.

Setting the clock

Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 PressFUNCTION to select clock.
2 Presscor dto select the segment of
theclock display you wish to set.
HourMinute
Asyou select segments of the clock display
thesegment selected will blink.
3 Pressaor bto set the clock.
Pressingawill increase the selected hour or
minute.Pressing bwill decrease the selected
houror minute.

Switching the auxiliary setting

Auxiliaryequipments connected to thisunit
canbe activated individually. Set each AUX
sourceto ON when using. About connecting
orusing auxiliary equipments, referto Using
theAUX source on the next page.
1 PressFUNCTION to select AUX1/AUX2.
2 Pressaor bto turn AUX1/AUX2 on or
off.

Setting the rear output and

subwoofer output

Thisunits rear output (rear speaker leads out-
putand RCA rear output) can be used for full-
rangespeaker (R-SP :FUL) or subwoofer
(R-SP:S/W) connection. If you switch the rear
outputsetting to R-SP :S/W, you can connect
arear speaker lead directly to a subwoofer
withoutusing an auxiliar y amp.
1 PressFUNCTION to select R-SP.
2 Pressaor bto switch the rear output
setting.
Pressingaor bwill switch between
R-SP:FUL (full-range speaker) and R-SP :S/W
(subwoofer)and that status will be displayed.
#Whenno subwoofer is connected to the rear
output,select R-SP :FUL.
