names.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
RPT(repeat play)—RDM (random play)—
SCAN(scan play)—PAUSE (pause)—COMP
(compressionand BMX)—FF/REV (search
method)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
#Ifyou do not operate the function within about
30seconds, the display is automatically returned
tothe playback display.
Repeating play
ForWMA/MP3/AAC/WAV playback, there are
threerepeat play ranges: FLD (folder repeat),
TRK(one-track repeat) and DSC (repeat all
tracks).
1 PressFUNCTION to select RPT.
2 Presscor dto select the repeat range.
!FLD–Repeat the current folder
!TRK–Repeat just the current track
!DSC–Repeat all tracks
Notes
!Ifyou select another folder during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to DSC.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring TRK, the repeat play range
changesto FLD.
!WhenFLD is selected, it is not possible to play
backa subfolder of that folder.
Playing tracks in random order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in a
randomorder within the repeat range, FLD
andDSC.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 PressFUNCTION to select RDM.
3 Pressato turn random play on.
RDM:ON appears in the display. Tracks will
playin a random order within the previously
selectedFLD or DSC ranges.
#Toturn random play off, press b.

Scanning folders and tracks

Whileyou are using FLD, the beginning of
eachtrack in the selected folder plays for
about10 seconds. When you are using DSC,
thebeginning of the first track of each folder
isplayed for about 10 seconds.
