All (with duplicates) is a good

®choice for programs with generic or inconsistent program information in the program guide.

Choosing “All (with duplicates)” means that duplicate programs are recorded even if they air within 28 days of each other. (See page 74 for more information.)

Keep Until. Available only for repeating recordings. You can change this setting from “Space needed” (the default setting) to “Until I delete.”

Keep At Least. Available only for individual recordings. You can set the minimum amount of time to keep a recording. The default setting is “Until space needed.”

Programs sometimes start before they’re supposed to, and often end later than scheduled. Using the Overtime Scheduler, you can add extra time to your recordings to account for these variations. The Overtime Scheduler consists of these two options:

Start Recording. Available for all recordings. You can choose to start recording up to ten minutes before a program begins. The default setting is “On-time.” (This option is not available once recording starts.)

Stop Recording. Available for all recordings. You can set a recording to stop a few minutes—or up to three hours—after the program is scheduled to end. This lets you extend a recording of a sports event so you can be sure to catch the whole game, even if it goes into overtime. The default setting is “On-time.”

Get a Season Pass

To get a Season Pass, select a program title from a list (for example, from the TiVo Live Guide, Search by Title, or View Upcoming) to see a Program Information screen. You can choose to get a Season Pass from there. On the To Do List and in Now Playing, episodes of a Season Pass or manual repeat recording are marked with two

checkmarks ( ).
