•Tenha cuidado quando estiver a manusear o HUMIDAIRE 3i. A placa de aquecimento e a água na câmara de água poderão estar quentes.

•No caso de líquidos serem derramados inadvertidamente sobre ou para dentro da estação de ancoragem do HUMIDAIRE 3i, desligue o dispositivo CPAP da sua tomada de corrente eléctrica. Desconecte a estação de ancoragem do dispositivo CPAP e deixe-a escorrer e secar antes de a voltar a usar.

•Não ponha o HUMIDAIRE 3i em funcionamento se a ficha ou cabo eléctrico do dispositivo CPAP se encontrarem danificados.

•Não use o HUMIDAIRE 3i se este não estiver a funcionar adequadamente ou se qualquer parte do mesmo tiver sido derrubada ou danificada.

•Mantenha o cabo eléctrico do dispositivo CPAP afastado de superfícies quentes.

•Não deixe cair ou introduza objectos dentro das aberturas ou tubos.

•Não use o HUMIDAIRE 3i na presença de materiais inflamáveis ou explosivos.

•Risco de explosão – não use na proximidade de anestésicos inflamáveis.

•Se utilizar oxigénio com este dispositivo, o fluxo de oxigénio deverá ser desligado quando o dispositivo não estiver em funcionamento.

Se o oxigénio tiver sido deixado ligado, desligue o gerador de fluxo e aguarde 30 minutos antes de voltar a ligar o gerador de fluxo.

Explicação: quando o dispositivo CPAP não se encontra em funcionamento e o fluxo de oxigénio é mantido, o oxigénio fornecido à tubagem de ar pode acumular-se dentro do dispositivo CPAP e criar o risco de incêndio. Tal aplica-se à maioria dos modelos de dispositivos de CPAP.

•O oxigénio favorece a combustão. O oxigénio não deverá ser usado enquanto que se estiver a fumar ou na presença de uma chama.

•Certifique-se sempre de que o dispositivo se encontra a gerar um fluxo de ar antes do fornecimento de oxigénio ser ligado.

•Desligue sempre o fornecimento de oxigénio antes de parar o fluxo de ar do dispositivo.

Nota: Aquando da existência de um caudal fixo do fluxo suplementar de oxigénio, a concentração de oxigénio inalado pode variar consoante o local de introdução do oxigénio, os ajustes de pressão, o padrão de respiração do paciente, a selecção da máscara e o regime de fuga.
