2Staccare la camera dell’acqua dall’unità di alloggiamento (G-3).

3Premere il grande bottone argentato situato circa a metà della parte sottostante dell’unità di alloggiamento (G-4)e separare lo HUMIDAIRE 3i dal generatore di flusso (G-5).

PERCHÉ SI FORMA CONDENSA NELLA MASCHERA E/O NEL TUBO DELL’ARIA?

Èpossibile che si formi una condensa eccessiva nella maschera o nel tubo dell’aria. Questo fenomeno può variare di stagione in stagione, e verificarsi in particolare quando la temperatura ambiente è bassa o aria fredda circola intorno al rivestimento del tubo. Per porvi rimedio, abbassare l’impostazione del selettore dell’umidità fino a che la condensa diminuisce.

Può essere necessario variare l’impostazione del livello di umidità con i cambi di stagione.

SI DEVE USARE ACQUA DISTILLATA NELLA CAMERA DELL’ACQUA?

Usare acqua distillata prolunga al massimo la durata utile della camera dell’acqua e riduce i depositi di minerali. Per ulteriori dettagli, vedere “Pulizia dello HumidAire 3i” a pagina 75.

COSA POSSO FARE SE SOFFRO ANCORA DI SECCHEZZA?

Se i sintomi di secchezza persistono, ciò può significare che il selettore di regolazione

èimpostato a un livello troppo basso per risultare efficace. In questo caso occorre aumentare gradualmente il livello nell’arco di alcune notti fino a che i sintomi cessano.

Se tuttavia i sintomi permangono anche in seguito all’aumento del livello di umidità, il problema può essere dovuto alla respirazione dalla bocca. La respirazione dalla bocca o le perdite d’aria attraverso di essa causano infatti secchezza ed irritazione nelle vie respiratorie superiori. Se ciò rappresenta un problema, l’uso di una maschera completa (‘full face’) o di un sottogola può aiutare a risolverlo. Per maggiori dettagli consultare il proprio medico o fornitore di apparecchiature mediche.
