•Probeer het docking-station van de HUMIDAIRE 3i niet te ontmantelen. Hierin bevinden zich geen door de gebruiker te onderhouden onderdelen. Reparaties en onderhoud van het binnenwerk mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door een bevoegde serviceagent.

•Behandel uw HUMIDAIRE 3i voorzichtig. De verwarmingsplaat en het water in de waterkamer kunnen heet zijn.

•Als er onbedoeld vloeistoffen worden gemorst in of op het docking-station van de HUMIDAIRE 3i, verwijder dan de netstekker van het CPAP-apparaat uit het stopcontact. Sluit het docking-station af van het CPAP-apparaat en zorg dat er geen water meer in het docking-station zit en dat het droog is alvorens dit te gebruiken.

•De HUMIDAIRE 3i niet bedienen als het elektriciteitssnoer of de stekker van het CPAP-apparaat beschadigd zijn.

•De HUMIDAIRE 3i niet bedienen als deze niet goed werkt of als een onderdeel ervan is gevallen of beschadigd.

•Houd het elektriciteitssnoer van het CPAP-apparaat uit de buurt van verwarmde oppervlakken.

•Laat het apparaat niet vallen en stop geen voorwerpen in openingen of slangen.

•De HUMIDAIRE 3i niet gebruiken in de nabijheid van brandbare of explosieve materialen.

•Gevaar voor explosies — niet gebruiken in de nabijheid van brandbare verdovingsmiddelen.

•Als dit apparaat wordt gebruikt in combinatie met zuurstof, moet de zuurstoftoevoer worden uitgeschakeld wanneer het apparaat niet aan staat. Als de zuurstof ingeschakeld is gelaten, de flow-generator uitschakelen, en dan 30 minuten wachten alvorens deze weer in te schakelen.

Uitleg: Wanneer het CPAP-apparaat buiten gebruik is en de zuurstoftoevoer niet wordt onderbroken, kan de zuurstof uit de ventilatieslang zich in het CPAP- apparaat ophopen en gevaar voor brand opleveren. Dit is van toepassing op de meeste types CPAP-apparaten

•Zuurstof is brandbaar. Gebruik geen zuurstof terwijl u rookt of in de nabijheid van open vuur.

•Zorg er altijd voor dat er een luchtstroom wordt gegenereerd door het apparaat voordat de zuurstofvoorziening wordt ingeschakeld.

•Schakel de zuurstofvoorziening altijd uit alvorens de luchtstroom uit het apparaat stop te zetten.

N.B.: Bij een vaste mate van zuurstofvoorziening varieert de ingeademde zuurstofconcentratie, afhankelijk van de plaats waar de zuurstof wordt ingelaten, de ingestelde druk, het ademhalingspatroon van de patiënt, het gekozen masker en de mate van lekkage.
