•Tenga cuidado al manipular el HUMIDAIRE 3i. La placa de calefacción y el agua en la cámara de agua pueden estar calientes.

•En caso de que inadvertidamente se derramen líquidos sobre la estación de carga del HUMIDAIRE 3i o hacia su interior, desenchufe el equipo CPAP de la fuente de alimentación. Desconecte la estación de carga del equipo CPAP y permita que la estación de carga se seque antes de volver a utilizarla.

•No encienda el HUMIDAIRE 3i si el equipo CPAP tiene un cable de conexión o un enchufe dañado.

•No utilice el HUMIDAIRE 3i si el mismo no está funcionando adecuadamente o si alguna de sus piezas ha caído al suelo o ha sido dañada.

•Mantenga el cable de conexión del equipo CPAP lejos de superficies calefaccionadas.

•No deje caer ni inserte ningún objeto en ninguna de las aberturas ni en los tubos.

•No use el HUMIDAIRE 3i en presencia de materiales inflamables o explosivos.

•Peligro de explosión: no utilizar cerca de anestésicos inflamables.

•Si se utiliza oxígeno con este dispositivo, el flujo del mismo deberá estar cerrado mientras el equipo no esté en funcionamiento.

Si el oxígeno se ha dejado abierto, apague el generador de aire y espere 30 minutos antes de encender el generador de aire nuevamente.

Explicación: mientras el equipo CPAP no esté funcionando, si se deja abierto el flujo de oxígeno, el oxígeno suministrado al tubo de respiración podrá acumularse dentro del dispositivo CPAP, creando así un riesgo de incendio. Esto se aplica a la mayoría de los tipos de equipos CPAP.

•El oxígeno favorece la combustión. Por tanto no debe utilizarse en presencia de una llama expuesta o mientras se fuma.

•Siempre asegúrese de que se genere flujo de aire por parte del equipo antes de encender el suministro de oxígeno.

•Siempre apague el suministro de oxígeno antes de detener el flujo de aire desde el equipo.

Nota: a un caudal fijo de oxígeno suplementario, la concentración de oxígeno inhalado variará dependiendo del punto en que éste se introduce, los ajustes de presión programados, el patrón respiratorio del paciente, la mascarilla elegida y el nivel de fuga.
