Using MHL
4. If the following message appears, MHL mode is activated. After about 3 seconds, the MHL
screen will be displayed.
HDMI/MHL MHL
3 sec later [MHL]
MHL activated.

NOTE
The indicated time “after 3 seconds” may vary depending on the mobile device.
When the mobile device is in power-saving mode
If the mobile device is in power-saving mode, deactivate the power-saving mode. The MHL
screen will appear normally.
When the mobile device is not connected or does not
support MHL
If MHL mode does not activate, check the connection of the mobile device.
If MHL mode does not activate, check if the mobile device supports MHL.
If MHL mode does not activate even though the mobile device supports MHL, update the
rmware on the device to the latest version.
Disabling MHL
When the cable is disconnected or the mobile device is
powered off
If the HDMI-MHL cable is disconnected or the mobile device is powered off when MHL is
active, the MHL function will be disabled.
NOTE
If the mobile cable is disconnected, HDMI/MHL mode will still be enabled.
