■Dacæ afli mutat camera direct dintr-un loc cald în unul rece, este posibil ca în aceasta sæ se formeze condens, pe suprafafla casetei sau pe obiectiv. În aceastæ situaflie, banda casetei se poate lipi de tamburul capului sau unitatea ar putea sæ nu funcflioneze corect. Pentru a împiedica defecfliunile posibile în asemenea situaflii, camera video este echipatæ cu un senzor de umezealæ.

■Dacæ în interiorul camerei se formeazæ umezealæ, este afiøat mesajul

(DEW). În acest caz, nu va funcfliona nici o funcflie, cu excepflia scoaterii casetei.
