SETTING SCREEN BASIC OPERATIONS

At the setting screens, use the jog dial or arrow button and the SET button to perform the desired settings. The selected menu or icon will turn orange in color (or reverse video). To enter or exit the setting screens, see “DISPLAYING THE SETTING SCREEN AND OPTION SETTING SCREEN” on page 31.

Jog dial

Clockwise: The value increases

Counterclockwise: The value decreases On the Shooting Setting Screen, you can select a menu.

Arrow button

Lightly press d, c, l, or j on the arrow button to move in the direction of that arrow.

Basic button operations

To select a menu:

œPress [j] to select the item above.

œPress [l] to select the item below.

œFrom the Shooting Setting Screens, turn the jog dial.

To select a setting:

œPress [c] to select the next icon (item) to the right.

œPress [d] to select the next icon (item) to the left.

œPress [j] to select the next icon (item) above.

œPress [l] to select the next icon (item) below.

To finalize the selected setting:

œPress the SET button to set the selected menu item.

œIn the Shooting Setting Screens, the selected icon moves to the far left.

œIn the Playback Setting Screens, the screen corresponding to the selected icon appears.

To cancel the operation

œPress the MODE button. Or select the Cicon or “EXIT” and press the SET button.
