1 Display the Video Clip Shooting Setting Screen (see page 31).

œThe remaining memory on the card is calculated, and the remaining recording time available is displayed.

œDepending on the memory capacity of the card, the remaining time is shown as “hr:min:sec”.

2 Select the desired shutter operation from the shutter operation menu, and press the SET button.

#: Recording of the video clip starts when the shutter release button is pressed and stops when it is pressed again.

$: Recording of the video clip occurs only while the shutter release button is pressed.

œThis completes the shutter operation setting.

œThe shutter operation setting is retained even if the main switch is set to “MONITOR OFF” or Ô, or the digital camera is turned off.

œYou can set the main switch to “MONITOR OFF” and record a video clip using the viewfinder.

œTo exit the Shooting Setting Screen, press the MODE button.
