Integration of the ATV312 in a PROFIBUS DP network controlled by a Modicon TSX P57 354M
Configuration with SyCON additional Software
To configure an ATV312 as a slave device on the PBY 100 master, you must configure the PROFIBUS DP with the SyCON configuration tool. For the first time configuration, you must add the GSD file of the ATV312 (available on
• File Menu > Copy GSD file
Once done, you can add a slave device by selecting:
•Schneider Electric as Vendor
•Altivar 312 as slave Device
Configuration of the slave
Define the address, in accordance with the DIP switches of the VW3 A312 07, and define a name to the Device. There are no additional configurations given that the Altivar 312 PROFIBUS DP module provides an unique mapping.
