TABLE 8 EXPLANATION OF TEST MODE

ITEMS		DESCRIPTION	REFERENCE
			SECTIONS
INSTALLATION	When the machine is installed, perform the following:
OF MACHINE	1.	Check to see that each setting is as per standard setting made at	8-2 F,G, 8-3 F
		the time of shipment.
	2.	In the INPUT TEST mode, check such input devices as each	8-2 C, 8-3 B
		SW, V.R., etc.
	3.	In the OUTPUT TEST mode, check such output devices as	8-3 C
		lamps, motors, etc.
	4.	In the SELF-TEST mode, check ICs on the IC Board.	8-2 B,J
MEMORY	Choose MEMORY TEST in the MENU mode to allow the		8-2 B,J
	MEMORY test to be performed. In this test, PROGRAM RAMs,
	ROMs, and ICs on the IC Board are checked.
PERIODIC	Periodically perform the following:
SERVICING	1. MEMORY TEST		8-2 B,J
	2.	Ascertain each setting.	8-2 F,G, 8-3 F
	3.	In the INPUT TEST mode, test the CONTROL device	8-2 C, 8-3 B
	4.	In the OUTPUT TEST mode, check such output devices as	8-3 C
		lamps, motors, etc.
CONTROL	1.	In the INPUT TEST mode, check such input devices as each	8-2 C, 8-3 B
SYSTEM		SW, V.R., etc.
	2.	Adjust or replace each SW and VR.	8-3 D,E,
	3.	If the problem can not be solved yet, check the CONTROL's	9,10,11
		moves.
MONITOR	In the MONITOR ADJUSTMENT mode,		8-2 E
	check to see if the adjustment is appropriately made.
IC BOARD	1. MEMORY TEST		8-2 B,J
	2.	In the SOUND TEST mode, check the sound related ROMs.	8-2 D
DATA CHECK	Check such data as game play time and histogram to adjust the		8-2 H, 8-3 G
	difficulty level, etc.
