Use these keys to select the color to be adjusted ( C

= cyan,

SPECIAL

 

If only the area around the letter inside a key is highlighted, the

 

 

 

settings have been changed from the factory default settings.

 

 

Use these keys to adjust the densities of each of the eight

 

 

density levels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FUNCTIONS

 

When one of the keys is pressed, the corresponding indicator

 

 

 

line will move up or down one step. Press the

key to

 

 

increase the density of the corresponding level, or the

key

 

 

to decrease the density.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Color

 

Use these keys to change the densities of all eight levels at

 

 

 

once.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

adjustments

 

When either key is pressed, the indicator lines of all eight levels

 

 

 

will move up or down one step.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Press the

key to increase the density, or the

key to

 

decrease the density.

Use this key to return the densities of all eight levels to the initial settings.

The initial color balance settings are the values set with key operator program “Initial Color Balance Setting”. For this reason, the initial settings may not necessarily be 0 (the middle indicator position) for all levels. The initial setting of each level is shown by a gray indicator. See page 22 of the KEY OPERATOR'S GUIDE.

Make all other desired copier selections and enter the

6 desired number of copies.

Press the COLOR COPY START ( ) key.

7 The BLACK COPY START () key can be pressed for copying. However, the COLOR BALANCE settings will be ignored.

You can also store color balance settings for repeated use in the future. (Refer to “Storing a Job Program” on page 2-18). In this case, complete the color balance setting before pressing the PROGRAM key bacause color copy samples cannot be made after the PROGRAM key is pressed.
