Important!

Make sure the main power switch of the DVD player is in the “OFF” position before attaching or detaching the AC adapter.

Use only the AC adapter specified for the DVD player. Use of another type of AC adapter can cause damage to and malfunction of the player.

The AC adapter may become warm after long-term use. This is normal and does not indicate malfunction.

When not in use, be sure to unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.

Do not leave the AC adapter in areas subject to high humidity or dust. Such conditions create the danger of fire and electric shock.

The AC adapter that comes with the DVD player is designed for use with any power source in the range of 110V to 240V, so you can even take it with you when travelling abroad. In some countries, however, you may need to purchase an AC plug adapter (often available at airports) to match the plug of the AC adapter to local power outlets.

CAUTION

Never use any commercially available electronic transformer.

Connecting the AC adapter to an electronic voltage transformer of the type widely available at tourist shops can result in fire, electrical shock or other hazards.
